Reservations? bring them on please !!!
One really shocking piece of news in hindu about what happens when a BC category person who gets a seat in Open Category moves to a better college. Disturbing it is really. Like most other things my opinion on topics take a full swing around every few years, so from being completely "anti-reservationist", I have been transformed to a "pro-reservationist" over the last few years.
Also, when someone says "I studied 18 hours a day and got 87% but couldn't get into the IITs where as my pal with 40% seems to have got a seat", I can only pity them to have been a minority victim of what looks like a reasonable scheme.
But however, "pro-reservationist" you may be this news seems to be a little hurting............ I think the game is getting "increasingly unfavourable" for the so-called forward communities.
